Youth to Youth
We believe in the power of the youth’s own voice.
Through our Youth-to-Youth approach, young people teach and guide one another.
Experience shows that peers more easily build trust, understanding and a sense of mastery together.
The method gives youth responsibility, develops leadership skills, and strengthens both the individual and the community.

What does Youth-to-Youth (Ung til Ung) involve?
Here, young people are at the forefront - they plan, communicate, lead activities, and create solutions that matter to others.
-
Youth take on leadership roles as team leaders or mentors
-
Participants receive support from peers, lowering the threshold for participation
-
Responsibility and trust strengthen confidence, community, and democratic engagement
-
The methodology is used in summer jobs, camps, and projects
Why is this important?
-
Young people gain experience with leadership and collaboration
-
